Although all freshwater gamefish feed on this crustacean, they are a favorite food source of both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. Crayfishes are found throughout the world, living in most freshwater environments.

This is a good copy of the Aussie herring that big Jew fish feed on awesome...
My biggest concern with this lure is running out of them. One of the most effective top water lures I've ever owned. Really wish Daiwa would start making these again.
